Terms and Conditions for Ancaster Shine

Welcome to Ancaster Shine! These terms and conditions govern the use of our services and the relationship between Ancaster Shine (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) and our customers (referred to as “you” or “your”). By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Information

Ancaster Shine offers residential and commercial window cleaning services in the Ancaster, Hamilton area. We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes to these terms will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.

2. Services

We provide the following services:

  • Residential and commercial window cleaning

  • Pressure washing (where applicable)

  • Gutter cleaning

  • Other related services as outlined on our website or in promotional materials.

Our services are provided subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

3. Service Fees and Payment

All fees for our services will be quoted to you prior to the job being undertaken. Final pricing will depend on the nature of the services, location, and size of the project. Payments are due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, or digital payment systems.

  • Payment Terms: Full payment must be received upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late Payments: If payment is not received on the day of service, a late fee may be applied.

  • Refunds: Refunds are not typically offered, but if you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us within 7 days to discuss possible solutions.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a service appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without incurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be subject to a no cancellation fee.

5. Access to Property

You are responsible for ensuring that our team has access to the necessary areas to perform the service. If access is restricted or blocked, additional charges may apply.

6. Liability and Damages

Ancaster Shine will take all reasonable precautions to avoid damage to your property. However, you acknowledge that accidents can occur. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided and excludes any consequential or indirect damages. We are not responsible for damage to items not part of the service (e.g., fixtures, furniture, or exterior elements outside of our direct cleaning scope).

7. Health and Safety

For safety reasons, our team is required to follow all health and safety protocols. You are required to inform us of any known hazards on the property prior to service. If our team encounters any unsafe working conditions, we reserve the right to halt the service and discuss alternative arrangements with you.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Ancaster Shine respects your privacy. We will not share your personal information without your consent except as required by law. For more information on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide the necessary permissions for us to perform our services. This includes ensuring that windows and other areas to be cleaned are not obstructed. You must also ensure that pets or other animals are kept away from areas being serviced to ensure the safety of our team.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ancaster Shine, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your failure to meet these Terms and Conditions, or from any other actions or omissions that result in harm to persons or property.

11. Force Majeure

Ancaster Shine will not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance of services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, labor strikes, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario.

By booking a service with Ancaster Shine, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
